We have deployed event networks for up to 15,000 simultaneous users in a single venue using multiple AP deployments with fiber backbone. The theoretical limit is purely a function of AP density and uplink bandwidth. We design for 2.5 devices per expected attendee — so a 2,000-person event requires infrastructure for 5,000 simultaneous devices. No event we've supported has exceeded its designed capacity.

We deploy two completely separate internet connections from different ISPs (or ISP + LTE) for all events. One connection is always active in hot-standby — within 30 seconds of the primary failing, traffic automatically routes to the backup. For events where the consequence of any connectivity loss is unacceptable, we can deploy three-way redundancy with satellite backup.

Yes — UniFi's QoS policies guarantee minimum bandwidth for specific SSIDs or devices. Production and press SSIDs are configured with bandwidth reservations that cannot be consumed by attendee traffic. We test this guarantee by simulating full attendee load before the event — your live stream uplink is protected regardless of what happens on the attendee network.

For events with up to 2,000 attendees, we can plan and deploy in 48 hours with the right notice. Events with 2,000-10,000 attendees ideally have 2 weeks of planning for physical logistics and ISP provisioning. Events over 10,000 should plan 4-6 weeks in advance to coordinate fiber provisioning, site survey, and equipment staging.

Yes — for all events over 500 attendees, INALAMBRICA.US provides a dedicated on-site network engineer who monitors the network from a NOC workstation throughout the event. They proactively identify and resolve issues before attendees notice. Remote backup support covers any scenario the on-site engineer cannot resolve independently.
