The Automated Configuration Backup System
Automatic Daily Backup: Every night at 2AM, the system automatically generates a complete configuration backup of all client UniFi devices. Backups are stored in three locations: locally on the NVR, encrypted offsite cloud, and INALAMBRICA.US NOC repository.
Quarterly Restoration Test: An untested backup is an unknown backup. Quarterly we run a restoration test in a lab environment to confirm every backup is functional and the recovery process remains documented and current.
- Documented RTO: We define and document the Recovery Time Objective for your network: the maximum acceptable downtime before full restoration. We design the DR plan to meet it.
